What the evidence says
Brain imaging studies consistently show activity across the entire brain, even during simple tasks. Neurologists have mapped specific functions to every known region. The 10% figure appears to originate from a misattributed quote from the early 1900s and has been repeatedly debunked in peer-reviewed literature.

Soval receives text when you highlight it and right-click. There is no background reader, no passive scanning.

No tabs permission, no <all_urls>. It does not know what else you have open.
Checks are never published
Everything you check through the extension stays in your private history. Nothing touches the public feed unless you go to the site and post it yourself.

Soval does not track you across the web or sell your data. It exists to check claims, nothing else.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
Yes, and a verified email. Each check costs real money to run, so your history has to belong to someone. Signing up is free.
Is anything I check made public?
No. Extension checks are private by design. If you want to publish a claim, you do that on the site, not through the extension.
How many checks do I get?
20 per day. If a claim has already been checked by someone else, you get the existing result instantly and it does not count against your limit.
What does it cost?
Nothing during beta. If that changes, you will hear from us first. No surprise paywalls.
